Qi gong is an ancient form of self performed medicine to help both heal the being and keep oneself healthy. It originates from China and could be considered the Chinese form of yoga. It uses the breath synchronized with body motions and mental concentration to help guide and create qi in the practitioners body and organs. It is a powerful way to create health for one physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Matthew has been studying qi gong since 2003. In his class he draws upon traditional qi gong techniques as well as his training in art and movement therapy, ecstatic dance, energy healing, and botany. His modernized qi gong will encourage people to utilize a wide range of tools to nurture their health. By learning to clear negative and draining habits and thoughts, and replacing them with life renewing one's, participants in Matthew's classes will learn how to cultivate health of their own accord. He is excited to share with you and enrich your health with powerful self healing skills.

This will be a donation *cash only* class with up to 9 participants. The class is one hour long: 1:00-2:00 on Fridays.
